Cantaloupe Soup

1 large cantaloupe
1 t. sweet curry powder (or nutmeg or cinnamon for a sweeter, less savory soup)
1/4 - 1/2 t. fresh ground black or white pepper
1 T. honey
1/8 - 1/4 c. yogurt
2 - 3 T. lemon juice
berries, spice, or fresh mint to garnish

In blender, puree peeled and seeded cantaloupe until smooth. Add spices, honey, yogurt, and lemon juice, and blend again briefly to mix. Chill at least 30 minutes. Best served the same day. Garnish with fresh mint, berries, or a dash of spice.

NOTE: I like a savory fruit dish, but if you prefer sweeter flavor, use cinnamon or nutmeg or garam masala rather than curry powder. Always start with a smaller amount - you can always add more to taste.
