Alana's Stuffed Jalapenos

1 package (8oz.) cream cheese, softened

1 cup (4 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar

1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack

6 bacon strips, cooked crispy and crumbled

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 pound FRESH jalapenos , halved lenghtwise and seeded

1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs

Sour cream, or ranch for dipping.

 

1)  In a mixing bowl, combine cheeses, bacon, and seasonings.  Mix. Spoon about 2 tablespoonfuls into each pepper.  Roll in breadcrumbs. 

 

2) Place in greased 15 x 10 inch baking pan.  Bake, uncovered at 300 degrees for 20 minutes for spicy, 30 for medium, 40 for mild.
